<br>Two years after the Gallardo's debut, the long-awaited open-top model has arrived. The Gallardo Spyder offers the same sportiness as the Gallardo, with the added joy of open-air motoring.
<br>With the top down, the Gallardo's forward-cabin style is emphasized. Thanks to its aluminum spaceframe structure, high rigidity is maintained even in the open-body configuration.
<br>The retractable top is a simple canvas design, achieving both weight reduction and a beautiful aesthetic.

<br>The soft top retracts beneath the rear engine cover. For this reason, the movable engine cover is made of lightweight carbon fiber. Operation takes just 20 seconds.

<br>The up-and-down rear window functions as a wind deflector when open, preventing wind turbulence in the cabin.
<br>In keeping with modern sports cars, the cabin offers ample comfort alongside its sportiness. The absence of a shift lever on the center console is due to the adoption of the e-gear sequential transmission.
