ASTON MARTIN DB9 VOLANTE | A Model Symbolizing the New Generation Aston Gallery

<br>The new generation Aston Martin, the DB9, was unveiled at the 2003 Frankfurt Motor Show. In addition to the open-top "Volante" model, a coupe version is also available.
<br>
<br>The all-aluminum body boasts lightness and high rigidity thanks to its spaceframe structure, dubbed "VH Architecture."
<br>The DB9's interior is where traditional craftsmanship meets modern materials. The round button under a glass cover in the center of the center cluster is the starter switch.
<br>
<br>The transmission options are a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic "Touchtronic II." With the latter, there is no shift lever; selecting the range is done by pressing buttons, a novel approach.
