Unveiled in 2007, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Duomètre Chronograph revolutionized traditional notions of chronographs. To prevent accuracy degradation during chronograph operation, its timekeeping and chronograph mechanisms are separated.
Duomètre Chronograph. The sub-dial at 2 o'clock displays elapsed hours and minutes coaxially, allowing confirmation of time passed as easily as reading the time. The sub-dial at 6 o'clock shows the units digit of the minutes.
Duomètre Chronograph. The sub-dial at 10 o'clock displays only the time. Unlike conventional chronographs, time can be clearly read even during measurement, preventing even slight inaccuracies caused by chronograph operation.

Duomètre Chronograph. The central gold hands indicate the seconds for timekeeping, while the central blued steel hands measure chronograph seconds. The gold hand at 7 o'clock shows the power reserve for timekeeping, and the blued steel hand at 5 o'clock indicates the chronograph power reserve. A foudroyante display at 6 o'clock allows precise measurement in 1/6th-second increments.
Case side of the Duomètre Chronograph. The chronograph start/stop/reset functions are controlled by a single push-button located at 2 o'clock. This single button controls a total of five measuring hands.
The Duomètre Chronograph is powered by the entirely in-house developed "Cal. 380" manufacture movement. It features two barrels, each supplying power to the timekeeping gear train and the chronograph gear train, respectively. Jaeger-LeCoultre calls this unique mechanism "Dual-Wing."
The plate covering the dial side of the Duomètre Chronograph's "Cal. 380" movement has been removed. Two gear trains, one for timekeeping and one for the chronograph, are regulated by a single balance wheel.

Master Compressor Extreme LAB. This revolutionary masterpiece utilizes high-tech materials in its movement, achieving complete maintenance-free operation. It employs a straight-line balance instead of a traditional annular balance, reducing air resistance on the balance. The seconds hand bridge, visible through the skeletonized dial, echoes the unique shape of this proprietary balance.
The entirely in-house developed "Cal. 988C" powering the Master Compressor Extreme LAB. For maintenance-free operation, it incorporates various advanced materials: artificial black diamond for the pallet stones in the most friction-prone areas of the escapement, silicon for the escape wheel, Iridium for the pivots, lightweight carbon fiber for the automatic winding rotor arms, and magnesium, which is notoriously difficult to machine, for the tourbillon carriage. All these components were developed and manufactured in-house.
