CES 2017 Report: Part 1 | Consumer Electronics Show 2017 Gallery

Faraday Future FF91, already hailed as a Tesla killer
Faraday Future FF91. Specs are conspicuously designed to target rivals, such as its 0-60 mph acceleration of 2.39 seconds compared to the Tesla Model S's 2.5 seconds. Production is scheduled to begin in Nevada in 2018.
For the second year running, BMW set up an independent outdoor pavilion. At its center was a demonstration cabin for the futuristic dashboard, "HoloActive Touch."

Toyota Concept-i. The onboard AI (Artificial Intelligence) helps deepen the relationship between car and driver, starting with the user naming their beloved car.

Honda NeuV Concept. An EV commuter equipped with an AI "Emotional Engine" that reads the driver's emotions using various devices and sensors. It's also designed for car-sharing use, intended for commuting in the morning and evening and for delivery during the day.

Nissan Motor's "SAM (Seamless Autonomous Mobility)" experimental vehicle. Through joint research with NASA, it uses big data to make situational judgments, such as prioritizing police hand signals over traffic lights.
Honda Riding Assist. A "motorcycle that doesn't fall" applying technology cultivated with ASIMO and other robots. It corrects excessive leaning to prevent falls and can stand on its own when stopped. It received three awards at this year's CES.
The electric scooter "Gogoro," powered by Panasonic batteries. Although it's a Taiwan-based company, it has already launched bike-sharing services in Berlin.
Audi, together with semiconductor company NVIDIA, conducted a ride-along demonstration of an AI-driven autonomous vehicle outdoors. No one was in the driver's seat. The vehicle, already familiar with its regular route, automatically rerouted when it recognized a temporary traffic signal at a construction site.
Volkswagen highlighted a seamless network between cars and homes using Amazon's Echo voice recognition device, while also showcasing the US premiere of its "I.D." EV concept.

Mercedes-Benz presented the "Vision Van," a concept for a future electric delivery vehicle, in its US premiere. The roof is equipped with two delivery drones capable of delivering packages up to 2 kg within a 10 km radius.

Hyundai's Ioniq, which was hailed as a "serious rival to the Prius" upon its debut. This time, its autonomous driving version was unveiled, utilizing a combination of stereo cameras and six radar and Lidar sensors. Demo drives were also conducted outside the venue.
At Hyundai's stage explaining the integration of smart homes and automobiles. The company is researching cloud-based connectivity with Cisco. It also highlighted the world's first in-car CO2 sensor, which automatically adjusts the air conditioning and plays relaxing music when carbon dioxide levels rise.
A city commuter developed by Denso in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). This compact vehicle is equipped with autonomous driving capabilities.
A dashboard concept proposed by Corning, the glass manufacturer known for "Gorilla Glass."
The "Oasis," an autonomous electric commuter concept proposed by Swiss engineering firm Rinspeed. Like Honda's NeuV, it's envisioned for car-sharing, intended for commuting in the morning and evening and for delivery during the day.
A demo car featuring BOSE's "Bose Ride" suspension system. Sensors and electromagnetic actuators reduce vertical and lateral vibrations within the vehicle.
