Enjoy a Coffee Break with Vitra's New Furniture | VITRA Gallery

Opened in February 2015, Blue Bottle Coffee Kiyosumi Shirakawa Roastery & Cafe is the first Japanese outpost of the Oakland, California-based coffee purveyor, known for its aromatic brews. Carefully selected green beans, sourced from their origins, are roasted in-house and brewed one cup at a time with meticulous hand-drips, tailored to bring out the best of each bean's characteristics.
Vitra's new furniture, the Belleville Chair and Belleville Table. The Belleville Chair, a plastic chair born from sophisticated technology, consists of two components: a frame and a seat shell. The Belleville Table offers a choice of laminate or wood for the top, with elegant, arched, slender legs made of die-cast aluminum, inspired by classic bistro tables.

To coincide with the exhibition, an Instagram photo contest was held. Participants posted photos of their "comfortable moments" at Blue Bottle Coffee Kiyosumi Shirakawa Roastery & Cafe. Vitra and Blue Bottle Coffee selected the winning entries based on the number of likes, with prizes awarded to the three top contributors.
