From the early 20th century, Longines has embarked on numerous aerial adventures alongside pilots. The new "Longines Avigation BigEye" is born as a tribute to these challenges and achievements. It fuses the tradition of 1930s chronographs with modern watchmaking technology, while the titanium case, combined with vintage style, creates a sharp impression.

The new "Longines Avigation BigEye," a reinterpretation of Longines' 1930s chronographs, has arrived. Its distinctive features include a petrol blue dial, a titanium case, and the large counters that give the "BigEye" its name.

Inside the 41mm titanium case beats the Caliber L688, a column-wheel chronograph movement. This exclusive movement, with a five-year warranty, uses a silicon balance spring, making it resistant to magnetic fields and ensuring accuracy and robustness for years to come. To enhance legibility, the petrol blue dial, with its striking shaded gradient, is adorned with Super-LumiNova®-coated hands and Arabic numeral indices. Furthermore, the generously sized 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock, the 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock, and the small seconds at 9 o'clock are balanced for excellent readability and design.

The vintage-inspired box-shaped sapphire crystal features a multi-layered anti-reflective coating, and the screw-down case back is engraved with the silhouette of an airplane. Paired with a natural brown leather strap that offers a vintage feel, this timepiece is the first new "Longines Avigation BigEye" model since the black-dial version in 2017.
