Aston Martin has announced that Girard-Perregaux will be its official watch partner. Through this partnership, Girard-Perregaux's logos and emblems will be featured on the Aston Martin Cognizant F1™ cars. A limited edition watch resulting from a collaboration between Aston Martin and Girard-Perregaux is also planned for release.

British luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin has announced Girard-Perregaux as its official watch partner. Girard-Perregaux, a Swiss manufacture, is one of the oldest names in watchmaking, renowned as the epitome of exquisite luxury timepieces. A limited edition watch born from the joint creation of these two brands is expected to be unveiled soon.

The legendary Aston Martin DBR1, built for racing in 1956, heralded the most famous lineage of DB road cars. Its enduringly beautiful and elegant style, designed in-house by the talented Frank Feeley, undeniably represents his "golden age." The design of the side air vents, adopted from this model, remains a crucial functional feature for Aston Martin's road-going sports cars to this day.

Similarly, Girard-Perregaux unveiled the "Three Gold Bridges Tourbillon" in 1867. The appearance of this watch, which transformed three functional components into striking design features, popularized a design that intentionally revealed what was previously unseen.

Regarding the partnership between the two brands, Tobias Moers, CEO of Aston Martin Lagonda, a luxury automotive group focused on producing luxury cars and SUVs, stated: "The true benefit of a partnership like this is that even though the core values shared by both companies are almost identical, the two brands can learn a great deal from each other. From the start of the 2021 F1 season in Bahrain, the Aston Martin Cognizant Formula 1™ team's cars will bear the Girard-Perregaux logo and emblems. Furthermore, the first watch created through the collaboration between Aston Martin and Girard-Perregaux is set to be unveiled in late 2021.
