Cuervo y Sobrinos announces the arrival of a new color variation for the Prominente Solotempo, the "Prominente Solotempo (Tobacco Dial)," available from November 2021 through authorized retailers nationwide.

The original "Prominente Solotempo" traces its roots to a luxury watch and jewelry store founded in Cuba in 1882. It is one of the timepieces released by Cuervo y Sobrinos during the sugar boom of the 1940s and 50s. When the brand was revived in 2002, this model was created drawing inspiration from original sketches and designs. It has since become highly popular for its elegant case design and dial embellishments, imbued with an Art Deco modern flair.

This new color version, the "Prominente Solotempo (Tobacco Dial)," has now been introduced. While the basic case design and specifications remain the same as previous models, this iteration features a tobacco-colored dial inspired by Cuba's iconic cigar. The dial is finished with a delicate, wave-like guilloché pattern in some areas and an oval section with a MOP (mother-of-pearl) finish, creating a face with remarkable depth. Gold-toned Arabic numerals and hands stand out beautifully against the deep tobacco-colored background, exuding an elegant and refined atmosphere.

The 33.75 x 52mm (W x H) long, curved case, which combines straight lines and curves reminiscent of Art Deco aesthetics, features steps on both sides. The central portion is narrowed, and the flared shape, which widens into a gentle arc towards the top and bottom extremities, imparts a unique impression.
