Slim Arabic Numerals Create an Elegant Atmosphere
The "Longines Heritage Classic Chronograph Tuxedo" is a chronograph model that inherits Longines' history, inspired by the tuxedo look of the 1940s. What immediately catches the eye is the sophisticated design work, with each display highlighted in black, opaline, and midnight blue. The hour circle is a matte black disk, and the two chronograph counters are opaline silver. A blue tachymeter scale is placed on top, creating a beautiful contrast while ensuring high legibility.
The counter hands, differing in shape as "arrows" on the left and "batons" on the right, and the silver frames around the counters that add depth and readability, serve as design accents. The indices use slender Arabic numerals, frequently used in the 1940s, lending an elegant impression.
This model is the only one in the current collection to feature a tachymeter. It is also equipped with the L895.5 movement, which uses a silicon balance spring.
