Chanel High Jewelry and Watch Collection: Public Exhibition
CHANEL HIGH JEWELRY COLLECTION
A Private Exhibition for Valued Clients
Open to the Public for One Day Only on Wednesday, October 29
“To be irreplaceable, one must always be different.”
It was with this strong conviction that Mademoiselle Chanel continuously created beauty.
That belief became the essence of luxury, beautifully culminating in a new collection.
The CHANEL High Jewelry and Watch Collection, usually reserved for clients, will be open to the public for one day only.
The Camélia Collection: Weaving Dreams of Jewelry
For Fall/Winter 2008, Chanel Fine Jewelry continues its Camélia Collection from Spring.
The camellia flower, with its simple lack of fragrance or thorns, captivated Mademoiselle Chanel so much that she chose it as her personal emblem. Diamonds, her favorite gemstone, add a vibrant sparkle to its plump petals.
White and black diamonds, as if each stone declares "eternity," are sometimes used together, creating the ultimate contrast of shadow and light.
Introducing the Première Ceramic
The "Première," Chanel's very first watch, launched in 1987. Its octagonal case and sapphire crystal, cut at an angle on the sides, were inspired by the Chanel No.5 bottle stopper and the Place Vendôme.
And in 2008, the "Première Ceramic," crafted from advanced ceramic material, debuted on October 15th. Its small, delicate silhouette masterfully revives the feminine and luxurious style of the 1930s. While retaining the original model's signature octagonal case and baton hands, it achieves absolute elegance.
The new "Première" is available in black and white, with four versions featuring diamond settings.
