The cross has long been revered as a symbol of sanctity. Chaumet’s “Liens de Chaumet” collection reimagines this cherished motif, which has supported people’s hearts, with a contemporary sensibility. Since its debut in 1977, it has been a popular gift item, cherished as a precious “token of affection” throughout its history. The core theme underpinning its creation is “bonds.” It has served to connect people, symbolizing not only the bonds with family and lovers but also affection, including friendship. This year, a new pendant design has been born from the “Liens” collection.

The new “Premiers Liens” line combines the collection’s signature cross motif with a wedding ring. A pavé diamond-adorned white gold Liens hoop supports a delicately moving ring, truly a “wedding ring to wear on your heart.” The gentle gesture of holding not just on the finger, but close to the heart, the unspoken sentiments for a loved one, is utterly captivating. From November 1st, a limited-edition Christmas pendant will also be available, featuring a pink gold cross paired with a white gold petite ring. This will be a Japan-exclusive piece.

In 2009, amidst a global recession, Chaumet sought to express “love” and “promise” through this new creation. A wedding ring, shining solemnly not on the finger but upon the chest, will surely bestow upon us an irreplaceable warmth.
