The third CHRONO TOKYO from independent watchmaker Hajime Asaoka. "CLASSIC" features a beautiful two-tone dial.
TiCTAC, a curated watch retailer, has announced two new colors for the "CLASSIC," a mechanical automatic watch designed and engineered by independent watchmaker Hajime Asaoka. Sales have commenced on its direct online store.

Limited production of 100 units for each color to commemorate the grand reopening of Shibuya PARCO.
The new "CLASSIC" model, created for TiCTAC by Hajime Asaoka, is here. Asaoka is one of only a dozen or so independent watchmakers worldwide. Born in 1965, he graduated from the University of Tokyo's Faculty of Design in 1990 and worked as a freelance industrial designer. He began his career as Japan's first independent watchmaker in 2011 and has exhibited annually at Baselworld in Switzerland since 2013, earning high praise for his authentic watchmaking.
The "CHRONO TOKYO" project began with the aim of creating an introductory mechanical watch and a timepiece for Asaoka's daily use. The "CLASSIC," the third installment in the series, was commissioned by TiCTAC to celebrate the reopening of Shibuya PARCO.
The dial's distinctive feature is its two-tone finish, available in steel gray and bronze. Beneath the paint, a sunray pattern creates subtle shifts in appearance depending on the light. The strap also marks a first for the "CHRONO TOKYO" series, utilizing crocodile leather.
Production is limited to 100 units of each color. Available at the TiCTAC update Shibuya Parco store or online.
