A Special Model to Commemorate the 7th Anniversary of Montblanc Ginza Main Store

The "Montblanc Ginza Main Store," born in the autumn of 2006, celebrates its 7th anniversary this year. To commemorate this milestone, a flagship model, exclusively released in Japan and produced in a strictly limited run, has been created, with details paying homage to the 7th anniversary of Montblanc Ginza Main Store. It will be available from September.

The Message of "7" Entrusted to the Anniversary Model

The "Nicolas RieussecChronographGinza Edition" is a model created in homage to the chronograph, for which the legendary watchmaker Nicolas Rieussec obtained his first patent nearly 190 years ago. Based on this monumental model, which features a unique mechanism for timing using two rotating discs and a fixed hand, this piece is a strictly limited production, available only in Japan, with details that pay tribute to the 7th anniversary of Montblanc Ginza Main Store.

The keyword celebrating the 7th anniversary of Montblanc Ginza Main Store this year is, quite simply, "7." The production run is a mere 77 pieces. While the standard models feature indices only at 3, 9, and 12, this model uniquely displays the number 7. The numeral "7" is set within the sapphire crystal case glass, standing out in sharp, three-dimensional relief. Turning the watch over, the serial number, a mark of its limited edition status, is engraved, allowing a view of the movement's workings through the large "7" depicted on the sapphire crystal.

The "Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph Ginza Edition," which respects the concept of the innovative watchmaker and the world's first watchmaker to patent the "chronograph," Nicolas Rieussec, has been revived with an entirely new design. It is truly a special model befitting the celebration of an anniversary.
