The Colorful Day-Date
The "Oyster Perpetual Day-Date," born in 1956 as the first wristwatch to display not only the date with a cyclops lens at 3 o'clock but also the full day of the week at 12 o'clock. This year, colorful leather straps and dials have been adopted for this model, which has been loved by many as a prestigious timepiece.BaselworldIt was announced at.
The combination of new dial and strap colors varies depending on the case's gold material. The 18K YG model comes with a green or cognac dial, the 18K WG model with a blue or cherry dial, and the 18K Everose gold model with a chocolate or classic rhodium dial.
Its appeal lies in the beautiful harmony of colors between the case material, the sunray-finished dial, and the alligator leather strap. In addition to the functional dual displays that instantly switch at midnight, the elegant details such as the classic fluted bezel are not to be missed. The movement is the in-house developed and manufactured "Caliber 3155," which has passed the certified chronometer test.
