Galaxy has released the "Galaxy Gear S3 frontier Golf edition," a version of its "Galaxy Gear S3" smartwatch equipped with the golf distance measurement app "Golf with SMART CADDIE." It supports over 60,000 golf courses worldwide, with approximately 2,260 courses in Japan. This smartwatch is specialized for course strategy, accurately displaying distances to the green and the overall course layout using its GPS sensor, and allowing high-definition viewing of course maps from golf courses across the country.

Through automatic updates, map data and round records are continuously managed and updated. The shot tracking feature allows for one-touch registration of shot locations, and by pre-downloading course data, it can be used independently without smartphone connectivity.




Score input during a round is also simplified: the automatic hole recognition function brings up a score input screen for each hole, allowing for easy score entry during play by rotating the bezel and double-tapping. Furthermore, scores are saved after the round, and shot locations can be reviewed on a smartphone or PC.

It also complies with 17 items of MIL-SPEC (US Military Standard MIL-STD-810G), making it suitable for active use in any situation. In addition to being waterproof and dustproof, it is resistant to high and low temperatures and impacts, and features "Corning® Gorilla® Glass SR+" for advanced durability and scratch resistance, further enhancing the comfort of your daily golf life.
