The Next Pin-Up Girl: An Oriental Beauty

Graham's popular Chronofighter collection is distinguished by its chronograph trigger positioned on the left side of the case. This unique trigger style has become an icon of the collection.

The design of the chronograph trigger is inspired by a chronograph developed for British Royal Air Force pilots during World War II. At the time, it was worn on the thigh rather than the wrist, and the case diameter was a large 60mm. The control lever was also located on the left side, similar to the Chronofighter. It was an advanced model designed for easy operation and visibility, even during flight. The Chronofighter adopts this design, scaled down to a wristwatch size of 44mm in diameter.

During World War II, captivating women were painted on the noses of fighter planes. These women were called pin-up girls, and the artwork on the nose and fuselage of the aircraft became collectively known as "nose art."

The Chronofighter Vintage Nose Art is a unique model that depicts these pin-up girls from that era on its dial. Following the previous beauties LILY, ANNA, NINA, and SALLY, this Asian Special introduces KELLY, dressed in a red cheongsam.

A cheongsam is a traditional Chinese dress, also known as a qipao in Japan. The dial of the Chronofighter Vintage Nose Art Asian Special features KELLY in a cheongsam with a side slit, accompanied by her canine companion. This is the first model to feature a companion, a nod to the Year of the Dog. The limited edition of 100 pieces is indicated by the serial number below the day-date display.

The case back is transparent, allowing a view of the automatic movement in action. The strap is a hand-stitched blue calfskin, perfectly complementing the dial's midnight blue hue.
