A Watch for Women with Masculine Charm

CHANEL has launched the new "Boyfriend Tweed" watch. This timepiece for women, which possesses a masculine charm, features the signature tweed pattern on its bracelet.

Bracelet Featuring a "Tweed" Pattern

Mademoiselle Chanel drew inspiration from the lifestyle, values, and fashion of her "boyfriend," reinterpreting them to create a succession of items that highlight a woman's allure through masculine elements.

In 1924, Mademoiselle Chanel incorporated tweed, a material from menswear she encountered in England, into women's suits. Since then, tweed has become an unwavering fashion code for Chanel.

In homage to her, the BOY・FRIEND watch, embodying masculine charm for women, was born in 2015. This autumn, the "Boyfriend Tweed" arrives, featuring Chanel's signature "tweed" pattern embossed on its bracelet.

The "Boyfriend Tweed" bracelet is crafted by intricately weaving fine stainless steel wires into a mesh, then embossing the tweed pattern. This results in a supple, comfortable fit that is also easily adjustable, with an 8-step adjustment range in 5mm increments. The sides of the bracelet are finished with a trim reminiscent of the braiding on a tweed jacket.

The octagonal case evokes the iconic "Première" watch, paying homage to the bottle stopper of the N°5 perfume and Place Vendôme. Its modern yet classical design is striking, with a contrast between the polished and satin finishes on the case.

The "Boyfriend Tweed" is available in small and medium case models. The small case model comes in a plain version, as well as a model adorned with brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel.

This is a watch imbued with Chanel's unique identity.
