“Ralph Lauren Automotive Collection" is an exquisite timepiece designed with inspiration drawn from Ralph Lauren's own legendary vintage car, the 1938Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic Coupe.Let's re-examine the "Ralph Lauren RL Automotive Skeleton," a legendary collection announced at the Geneva Salon in 2015 and released in October.

The RL initial logo at the 12 o'clock position of the "Ralph Lauren RL Automotive Skeleton" was inspired by the logos of vintage racing cars. The wooden bezel, finished in rosewood, evokes the steering wheel of a Bugatti. The black alligator leather strap recalls the sophisticated interior of the legendary vintage car, the Bugatti.

The movement, corresponding to the engine, is a hand-wound movement from the prestigious Swiss brand IWC, specially produced for Ralph Lauren by Vaucher Manufacture. The bridges supporting the black-finished movement showcase the watch's aesthetic, and Ralph Lauren's first open-worked design allows for an appreciation of its complex and intricate mechanical movements.
