A school open to all who love beauty

The esteemed Maison Van Cleef & Arpels, which has revolutionized the jewelry world with creations like the Mystery Set, Zip necklace, and Poetic Complications watches, is establishing "L.E.C.O.L.E. Van Cleef & Arpels" to impart the techniques and essence of beauty.


This school is open to anyone passionate about jewelry, anyone who loves beauty, and anyone worldwide who wishes to acquire the "inherent" knowledge of the captivating world of jewelry. Classes can be chosen in either French or English.








The learning method is comprised of three steps: "Unveiling," "Shedding light on," and "Revealing." The curriculum offers an understanding of the "soul" of jewelry through both knowledge and sensibility, including the discovery of art, the enhancement of connoisseurship, and knowledge of materials.



The school is housed in an 18th-century townhouse in Place Vendôme, the mecca of jewelry. It features an experimental salon for hands-on experience and trying on pieces, a training salon, and a private library.



Applications for the sessions starting in February 2012 are already being accepted. Registration can be done via the website, email, or telephone.


It will be a valuable place of learning, offering the opportunity to study the artisan techniques and the brand's spirit of beauty encapsulated within sparkling jewelry.
