J12 29MM
Since its debut, the "J12" has been overwhelmingly favored by women as an item that fits any occasion and any fashion. Until now, even the smallest model had a case diameter of 33mm, which could sometimes be too large for women with slender wrists, like many Japanese women. There were many voices wishing for a slightly smaller size.
This year, Chanel has finally responded to these wishes, adding a 29mm case diameter model to its lineup. There are four variations in total: the pictured model with a white high-tech ceramic and stainless steel case, a mother-of-pearl dial, and diamonds set at eight hour markers; a model with a black case and bracelet and a black lacquer dial; and others. For those who desire a more glamorous sparkle on their wrist, a model is also available with 40 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 0.90 carats set on the bezel. Notably, the diamond bezel version is a premium model that will be released in Japan ahead of the rest of the world starting in June.
This new creation is both sporty and elegant, suitable as a dress watch. For women who previously hesitated, thinking, "I'd love to wear the J12, but the size is just a bit too large," there could be no better news.
Quartz movement, white high-tech ceramic and stainless steel case & bracelet, 29mm case diameter, 50m water resistance, ¥546,000, scheduled for June release.
