Alongside the Poetic Complications, a major theme of this year's collection is the "Extraordinary Dial," showcasing supreme artisanal craftsmanship. The photograph features one piece from this collection. This artistic ladies' watch depicts the vibrant forms of five species of hummingbirds, found across the globe and living by sipping nectar from flowers like insects, rendered on the dial through three-dimensional champlevé enamel and stone setting. This particular piece recreates the form of the "Berylline," one of the five hummingbird species. Each of the five models is a limited edition of just eight pieces.
