The "Première," with its octagonal case inspired by the stopper of Chanel N°5 and Paris's Place Vendôme where the fine jewelry boutique is located, first appeared in 1987 as the brand's inaugural ladies' model. This year, a new rubber strap model has been introduced.

With its petite 15 x 19.7mm size, perfect for the wrists of Japanese women, the 52 diamonds totaling 0.26 carats set into the bezel, and the 4 diamonds totaling 0.01 carats on the dial, it elegantly dresses up your wrist at any occasion. The white dial is mother-of-pearl, and the black dial is finished with black lacquer. The accessible price point under 400,000 yen is also groundbreaking.

BRAND HISTORY

In 1910, founder Gabrielle Chanel opened a hat boutique on Rue Cambon in Paris. This marked the beginning of what is now a world-renowned maison, Chanel.

In 1932, she presented a fine jewelry collection in the salon of her private residence. Chanel has consistently created captivating pieces not only in fashion but also in the realm of jewelry. The "Première," the first wristwatch presented by Chanel in 1987, was inspired by "Place Vendôme," the mecca for jewelers where the company's jewelry boutique would later be established, and the emerald-cut watch echoed the stopper of "Chanel N°5," the brand's first fragrance. Its beauty captivated many women.

Subsequently, "Mademoiselle" was launched in 1990, followed by "Matelassé" in 1993. However, the "J12," the company's first mechanical watch released in 2000, deserves special mention. This unisex model, with its innovative ceramic design, quickly became an icon of the brand, leading to numerous variations such asTourbillon,Chronograph, and GMT.

In 2008, the "J12 Caliber 3125" marked the first collaboration with Audemars Piguet. Even within the "J12" collection alone, Chanel demonstrates the infinite possibilities of creation. The company continues to uphold Mademoiselle Chanel's design philosophy, "Fashion changes, but style remains eternal," in the field of watchmaking.
