Last year, Grand Seiko successfully revived its long-awaited mechanical ladies' models. Now, just one year later, the brand has already incorporated them into its production line, appealing to women worldwide with attractive pricing suitable for everyday wear.

High Precision Standard for Women's Watches: Within +/- 8 to -3 Seconds Per Day
For a ladies' caliber, maintaining accuracy is more challenging due to the smaller size of all components, including the regulating mechanism. Therefore, while a separate accuracy standard is generally set for women's calibers compared to men's, this Grand Seiko ladies' exclusive caliber '9S27' still achieves a favorable accuracy of +8 to -3 seconds per day.
The precision of a watch is particularly important when worn in a business setting.
“Don’t we always have accurate time displayed on our smartphones and computers?” you might ask. Precisely because of that, if the most familiar time source is off, it becomes incredibly distracting. More than just distracting, it erodes trust and will eventually lead to the watch being unused. A watch is not merely an accessory. It is a tool for telling time, an item that mediates the act of checking the time, and a unique piece that is never disrespectful to those around you.
Let's turn our attention to the design. The elegantly elongated case lines flow seamlessly into the lugs, forming a natural tonneau shape. This is the sophistication only Zaratsu polishing can achieve. In contrast, the dial features a delicate linen-like texture, accented by 11 diamonds for a subtle yet radiant touch. For those who prefer a more understated look, there's an option with a mother-of-pearl dial and bar indices. Conversely, for a bolder statement, models in gold cases are also available.
The case back is transparent, allowing a view of the movement. The escape wheel, a component of the regulating mechanism, is adorned with a decoration resembling five flower petals, subtly expressing femininity even in the unseen parts.
