Captivating specifications and design that impress watch enthusiasts, now more accessible.
The highly anticipated stainless steel case models have arrived!

Entering its third year since its debut, "Ralph Lauren Watch." What are the new offerings this year from the charismatic figure of the fashion world, Ralph Lauren, who knows good things, in collaboration with the Richemont Group?

By Yasuto Shibuya

Debuting at the 2009 Geneva Salon, "Ralph Lauren Watch" is a dream collaboration born from the handshake between Ralph Lauren, a fashion icon and antique watch collector who deeply understands the allure of timepieces, and the Richemont Group, which owns some of the world's most prestigious watchmakers. Utilizing the exquisite movements and expertise of the renowned group, Lauren's "ideal wristwatch" embodies classic, sophisticated design. Its mechanical aspects are equally impeccable, satisfying and captivating even the most discerning watch aficionados. However, until now, the unfortunate aspect for general watch lovers was the relatively high price range, making it a challenging acquisition.

This year's Geneva Salon, however, brought a significant change. Alongside the introduction of high jewelry watches for ladies' models, high jewelrythe brand's "icon," the Stirrup collection with its stirrup-shaped case, now features the highly anticipated stainless steel models. With the same captivating essence, the brand has transformed into one that is more accessible to everyone. This was one of the most welcome pieces of news at this year's S.I.H.H.

Furthermore, in its third year, the "Slim Classique Collection" makes its debut with its first-ever square case and a more dressy design. Other notable additions include new models in the Sporting Collection featuring classic guilloché patterns, as well as black ceramic case models in the Sporting Collection.

Sporting Wood Dial Watch
A must-have for classic car enthusiasts

A new model in the Sporting Collection, designed by Ralph Lauren, a classic car collector himself, inspired by his 1938 "BugattiType 57SC Coupe." The center of the dial features a matte finish reminiscent of the car's black seats, with minute markers resembling vintage automotive gauges. The outer circumference is adorned with beautiful elm wood, evoking the wooden instrument panels of classic cars. The movement is the "Caliber RL98295," based on a classic low-beat manual winding movement from the esteemed Swiss manufacturer IWC, which shares a long history with Bugatti. This is a timepiece that truly embodies Ralph Lauren's unique taste and is unmissable for classic car aficionados.

Stirrup Chronograph Large Model Stainless Steel Case Watch
The most popular icon model is now much more accessible

The unique case design is inspired by the "stirrup," used in equestrianism to rest the feet on either side of the saddle.
The Stirrup Collection is the iconic symbol of Ralph Lauren Watches, mirroring the "Polo Ralph Lauren" apparel collection. Since the brand's inception in 2009, it has been the most popular line globally, including in Japan. However, previously, all case materials were gold, resulting in very high prices. This year, the Stirrup collection introduces three models with stainless steel cases, offering a dramatically more "affordable" price point. These include the large-sized chronograph with a black dial shown in the photo, chronographa medium-sized automatic three-hand model, and a small-sized quartz model. For those who have admired Ralph Lauren watches, particularly the Stirrup, but hesitated due to the price, this is wonderful news.

Slim Classique Guilloché Watch
The first square dress watch embodying the RL style of elegance

The Slim Classique collection, the first square-cased collection, is characterized by its elegantly ultra-thin case, inspired by watches from the Art Deco era of the 1920s. The unique dial design, combining Roman and Arabic numerals—a departure from the styles of that period—is also noteworthy, as is the ultra-thin manual winding mechanical movement born from Piaget's advanced technology and tradition. This unisex model comes in a single case size, with all materials being gold. The model shown in the photo is the most luxurious and expensive within the lineup, featuring guilloché work on both the dial and the white gold case. It is a timepiece perfect for formal occasions, such as black-tie events, that any gentleman or lady would wish to own.

Manual winding, 27.5mm x 27.5mm white gold case, alligator strap, ¥1,473,150. Scheduled for July release.
