Icons like Vara and Gancini Transformed into Jewelry
Salvatore Ferragamo, known for innovative designs such as wedge and platform soles, has joined forces with Gianni Bulgari for a new jewelry collection. Showcasing the unparalleled craftsmanship and design ethos of Italian luxury, these three distinct collections are poised to make a significant statement.
First, there is "Vara," named after Ferragamo's signature shoe. The iconic "Vara" ribbon is reimagined as a rounded silver bracelet and ring. Available in silver, as well as more luxurious and refined white gold and diamond pieces.
Inspired by Ferragamo's famous logo, designed in 1930 by Futurist painter Lucio Venna, "Footista" features a delicate, undulating design. Comprising bracelets, earrings, and pendants, the collection offers a contemporary interpretation of the dynamism of the 1930s.
Meanwhile, the "Gancini" collection utilizes yellow and pink gold, lavishly adorned with diamonds and semi-precious stones. The varied use of stones allows each piece to express a unique character.
These jewelry pieces, crafted with modern techniques and sophisticated graphic design, undeniably establish a new identity for Ferragamo. All collections are available in Japan at the Ginza Main Store and the Osaka Umeda Main Store.
