A Collection of Geometric Patterns Inspired by Nature

AGATHA PARIS, a costume jewelry brand founded in 1974 in the 6th arrondissement of Paris. Founder Michel Quinou championed the concept of "daily chic," continuously proposing new accessories with the free spirit and edgy sensibility of Parisian women. This time, a collaboration has been realized with "APSU," a textile artist from Kyoto, Paris's sister city.

AGATHA PARIS's new "Africa 1925" collection is characterized by geometric patterns inspired by nature. APSU's works and videos, drawing inspiration from the collection's bold, minimal, and elegant designs, will be exhibited in the same space. We invite you to experience the powerful essence of the African continent emanating from the installation of accessories and artworks.

APSU
A textile artist. From a young age, she harbored an interest in Japan's ancient culture and customs, frequently visiting remote areas and islands across the country. Based on the inspiration gained from these journeys, she began drawing animals and patterns, starting her professional activities in 2009. Her distinctive style features delicate, hand-drawn geometric lines, and she uses any surface—shoes, tote bags, paper, walls, wood, iron—as a canvas for her creations. In recent years, she has expanded her activities to include designing items for apparel brands, CD jackets, and company logos. She also engages in musical activities under the same name, expressing a minimal and mystical world through sound that connects to her artistic style.
