Palace Hotel Tokyo presents "HANAMI SPRING FESTIVAL -Pink Petals–," its third collaboration with artist Noritaka Tatehana, who continues to innovatively express Japanese traditional beauty to the world, centered around the theme of cherry blossom viewing.

From March 26 (Mon) to April 23 (Mon), a special exhibition of the installation "Pink Petals" will be held in the 1st-floor lobby. Additionally, special sweets directed by Tatehana will be offered for a limited time at "The Palace Lounge" and "Sweets & Deli," along with cocktails at "Royal Bar" and "The Palace Lounge."

This collaboration was realized through the mutual resonance between Palace Hotel Tokyo, which upholds the brand concept "A beautiful day in a beautiful country," and Noritaka Tatehana, an artist who consistently creates original works using the spirituality that Japan has cultivated since ancient times.

In 2016, they offered afternoon tea and cocktails themed "Nemadezuki –MOONRISE–."

In 2017, under the theme "Tanabata Prayers –PRAYERS–," they held an installation exhibition and sold glass sweets, conveying the charm of a new Japanese culture born from Tatehana's unique interpretation and expression.

The third installment in 2018 takes "Ohanami," an ancient Japanese custom and a quintessential symbol of spring, as its theme.

Japan's beautiful spring, adorned with cherry blossoms, has been drawing attention from overseas in recent years.

Tatehana created the installation "Pink Petals," inspired by "kazaguruma" (pinwheels), a spring season word, with countless cherry-blossom-colored pinwheels resembling petals, as if a cherry tree were swaying in the wind.

It will be exhibited in the lobby of Palace Hotel Tokyo.

Furthermore, at the 1st-floor lobby lounge "The Palace Lounge" and the B1F pastry shop "Sweets & Deli," limited-edition special sweets supervised by Tatehana with the theme of cherry blossom viewing will be sold.

Limited-edition cocktails will be available at the 1st-floor main bar "Royal Bar" and "The Palace Lounge."
