Located on the second floor of Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba, "The Lobby Cafe" boasts a relaxing, open atrium space and features an afternoon tea series themed around "color," inspired by the Rainbow Bridge visible from the hotel.
For July and August, the eighth installment of this series focuses on "purple," offering a total of eight types of sweets using tart fruits like cassis and cherry, blackberries, and sweet, comforting purple sweet potato, along with three savory items.
The semi-circular "Cassis Mousse" features vanilla cream inside the mousse, coated with chocolate and adorned with blueberries. The "Blackberry Ganache Cone" has blackberry ganache within cassis chantilly, boldly presented in a cone and finished with pearl crackling, a white chocolate puff. Savory options include the "Country Style Pate Mini Kaiser," a mini kaiser roll with poppy seeds, filled with country-style pate, treviso, and grain mustard, and the "Crab and Egg Purple Sweet Potato Sandwich," a sandwich of shredded snow crab, egg, onion, and mayonnaise on purple sweet potato bread.
