A tearjerker for Beatles fans: footage of Paul and Ringo performing together is revealed to the world for the first time.
The "Change Begins Within Concert 2009," featuring a miraculous collaboration between Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, is now available as a video release.
Ahead of the DVD's Japan-exclusive release on Wednesday, May 31st, a portion of the footage was shared on Facebook.
The song featured is "Cosmically Conscious," which closes Paul McCartney's 1993 solo album "Off the Ground."
Paul wrote this song during his stay in India in The Beatles era, and it was performed only once at this concert, making it a rare stage performance.
Ringo Starr played the drums, and all concert performers, including Sheryl Crow and Ben Harper, joined in with Paul McCartney at the center.
This scene marked the climax of the day.
The DVD includes a total of 18 songs, featuring many Beatles classics, and offers a tearjerker for fans with scenes of Paul and Ringo sharing a single microphone center stage as they sing.
