On January 15, 2019, Maruyama Coffee released its limited-edition Valentine's coffees: "Valentine Blend" and "Valentine Blend Drip Bag."
Maruyama Coffee's Valentine Blend is a perennial favorite.

Valentine Blend (Dark Roast)
Flavors of bitter chocolate, roasted nuts, and cherry. Creamy texture with a bright, sweet finish. This blend, created to evoke the excitement and joy of thinking of a beloved, or the gentle feelings for someone cherished, pairs wonderfully with sweets.

"Café de Tumaco," a Limited-Edition Valentine Drink Combining Chocolate and Coffee
At the Omotesando store, Maruyama Coffee is offering a collaboration drink with Mayumi Ogata, a cacao hunter who travels the world in search of high-quality cacao.
Ogata and Maruyama Coffee's中山 (Nakayama), a siphonist, have spent the past four years lecturing on the appeal of pairing cacao with siphon coffee. These two, who have devised numerous pairings, developed this drink with the aim of creating a well-balanced beverage that allows one to savor the best pairing in a single cup.
"Café de Tumaco" can be enjoyed both with and without alcohol.
The aromatic siphon coffee is followed by the scent of whiskey, then a subtle spread of the citric acidity, reminiscent of lime, from Cacao Hunters' "Tumaco 70%" chocolate. The cinnamon aroma and the sweetness of the coffee and chocolate linger, creating a sophisticated drink.
