On August 3, 2018, Hilton Osaka will open four restaurants: the Japanese cuisine and sushi restaurant "Kawauume," teppanyaki restaurant "Tenka," grill and wine restaurant "Centrum," and all-day dining "Folk Kitchen."
The newly renovated second floor of Hilton Osaka opens as a restaurant floor where guests can experience the flavors of Kansai, fitting for "the nation's kitchen," with a fresh sensibility.
The offerings include Japanese cuisine supervised by Kazuo Takagi (Kyoto Cuisine Takagi), who has earned two Michelin stars for eight consecutive years; teppanyaki where guests can savor a variety of Japanese beefs such as Kobe beef and Omi beef; a grill with an extensive wine cellar; and a restaurant offering fresh salads and just-prepared dishes in a buffet style.
Furthermore, the modern, luxurious space designed by Yukio Hashimoto evokes the birth of a new food destination where adults can gather.
It is a noteworthy gourmet spot that can be used for various occasions, including gatherings with multi-generational families, couples, friends, colleagues, and for business entertainment.
Restaurant Introduction
■ Kaiseki & Sushi "Kawauume"
A Japanese restaurant named with respect for regional cuisine and food culture, drawing its name from the rivers that flow through Osaka, the "city of water," and the place name Umeda. A bar is also attached.
■ Teppanyaki "Tenka"
Featuring high-quality ingredients from the Kansai region, this restaurant grills and delicately prepares top-grade Japanese black beef, including Matsusaka beef, Kobe beef, and Omi beef, right before your eyes.
■ Grill & Wine "Centrum"
Located at the center of the restaurant floor, this grill dining establishment with an open kitchen allows guests to enjoy freshly grilled dishes. Private rooms with wine cellars are also available.
