A Grown-Up Christmas Crafted by Unique "Greens": "Merry Mellow Xmas"
MARINE & WALK YOKOHAMA in Minatomirai, Yokohama, is currently hosting "Merry Mellow Xmas." This year's Christmas centers around "greenery," evoking vitality, warmth, and moments of healing. A total of 15 green shops have pooled their resources to create a truly unique Christmas experience.
Throughout the event, visitors can enjoy illumination spots themed around "greenery," as well as a Christmas market and workshops held every weekend, all focusing on carefully selected green elements.
A One-of-a-Kind Christmas Tree Crafted by Hand with Unique Plants
The centerpiece is a 3.5-meter-tall tree. While its size might seem ordinary, it's a testament to the artistry of seven green shops, with each plant meticulously hand-placed to create this unparalleled Christmas tree.
The venue also features Christmas photo spots, including a 1.5-meter-diameter wreath with striking marquee lights and "M&W" signboards. All are designed with a vibrant and joyful sense of greenery.
On weekends, a Christmas market offers the chance to discover "greenery unlike any other," alongside workshops where you can craft your own Christmas objects using plants, from classic wreaths to uniquely arranged pieces.
Furthermore, during the event period, participating shops are offering promotions where purchases exceeding a certain amount qualify for free shipping or coverage of the initial taxi fare.
