On May 7 (Sunday), the final day of Golden Week, a full-scale music and dance concert for children, "Kids on Music," will be held at Meguro Persimmon Hall.

This project features members from "M-Swift," popular for their crossover jazz, and "Stax Groove" from Jazzy Sport.

"Kids on Music," born in Setagaya with the philosophy of "wanting children to hear real music, not music designed for them," will be held in a hall for the first time.

Leading the six-piece jazz band this time is Shohei Matsushita, also known as M-Swift, who has released albums on Italy's IRMA Records and created the sound logo for NHK's Rio Olympics.

Tap dancer Lily, who has performed at the "Cotton Club," a jazz club in New York's Harlem, will also participate. Additionally, selected members from the dance group Stax Groove, affiliated with Jazzy Sport and currently leading Japan's dance scene, and Broken Sports will perform as jazz dancers.

The interplay of live music and dance by top artists is sure to be enjoyed by both children and adults.
