Palace Hotel Tokyo collaborates with Sweden's five-star Grand Hotel for "Grand Hotel Stockholm Week."
This year marks the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Sweden, and with the visit of Sweden's King Carl XVI Gustaf and other dignitaries, Palace Hotel Tokyo has collaborated with Grand Hotel, Sweden's premier five-star royal warrant hotel, to offer guests an unparalleled culinary experience.
This special event will be held for a limited time from Friday, April 20th to Friday, April 27th.
Grand Hotel boasts a superb location in Sweden's capital, Stockholm, overlooking the Royal Palace and the old town across the water.
Since its opening in 1874, it has been cherished by celebrities and gourmands alike, and since 1901, the esteemed tradition of Nobel laureates and their families staying at the hotel for the awards ceremony has continued.
With Michelin-starred restaurants and the charming "Cadier Bar," its exceptional and unique service captivates guests from around the world.
For this event, the all-day dining restaurant "Grand Kitchen" has invited Chef Gabriel Ask, the Executive Chef overseeing all restaurants at Grand Hotel, to host "Grand Hotel Stockholm Week," offering Nordic cuisine with a modern twist on traditional dishes.
Guests can savor a variety of dishes that highlight the abundant seafood and fresh vegetables unique to the Nordic region.
Why not celebrate this momentous year for Japan and Sweden by enjoying cuisine born from Nordic tradition and innovation, all while overlooking the fresh greenery and feeling the crisp spring breeze at Grand Kitchen?
