tofubeats takes the stage! Fred Perry's in-store "Subculture Live" event comes to Osaka.
On Sunday, November 19th, Fred Perry's Osaka store will host an in-store live performance featuring tofubeats.
FRED PERRY is an authentic British fashion brand.
Subculture Live is the live performance series from "Subculture," Fred Perry's music portal site, which has been active since the mid-2000s.
Launched in 2007 as "Subsonic Live," it has featured a wide array of artists, from legends like Paul Weller, The Specials, and Amy Winehouse to emerging bands such as The Temples and Jagwar Ma.
The Japanese version debuted in 2014, with performances by Little Barrie, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, OKAMOTO'S, and others.
In 2015, The Charlatans performed, followed by Feeder in 2016, with events held in both Tokyo and Osaka.
Since 2017, the focus has shifted to in-store events. An acoustic performance by Copenhagen band Communions was held at the Tokyo store, evolving into a unique music event that reflects the brand's background, intertwined with UK subculture.
This, the third event of 2017, features tofubeats, a new-generation trackmaker and producer garnering significant attention both domestically and internationally.
Based in the Kansai region, he will present a live set at the Fred Perry shop in Osaka.
Admission is free, so why not stop by?
