【30th Anniversary Theme: "Cherishing My Favorites, Now and Always"】
For 30 years, "Let's Go, Kyoto." has, true to its theme song "My Favorite Things," shared the unique favorites of each traveler. To commemorate this milestone, the campaign will look back on its history, introduce Kyoto's diverse charms beyond just autumn foliage and cherry blossoms, and continue to share "My Favorites, Now and Always."
【A Wealth of Anniversary Projects to Discover Your "Favorite"!】
The 30th-anniversary projects are designed to help visitors discover their own "favorite" aspects of Kyoto. Kicking off with events at Tokyo Station and a Yamanote Line train wrap to coincide with the campaign's launch, a variety of special initiatives are planned.
The "Let's Go, Kyoto." 30th Anniversary Exhibition
To convey Kyoto's timeless appeal, a special exhibition of large-scale past campaign posters will be held at an event space in Tokyo Station's Yaesu South Exit. Additionally, a giant gachapon (capsule toy) machine will offer a chance to win original "Let's Go, Kyoto." merchandise. Those who spin the gachapon will receive original magnets and other items (limited quantities daily).
Furthermore, among those who post photos taken at designated spots within the event space on social media with the hashtag "#LetsGoKyoto30thAnniversary," 30 lucky winners will be selected to receive a "Limited Edition Calendar" featuring 12 carefully chosen posters.
This event aims to allow visitors, even while in Tokyo, to reminisce about their favorite Kyoto memories or discover new ones.
