French haute couture house GIVENCHY has appointed Clare Waight Keller as its new Artistic Director, effective May 2nd.

Clare Waight Keller, who hails from the UK, has previously contributed to major fashion houses including Ralph Lauren, Gucci under Tom Ford, and Chloé.

She will now oversee creative direction for all GIVENCHY collections, encompassing womenswear, menswear, ready-to-wear, accessories, and haute couture.

Her debut collection for the house is slated to be unveiled at the GIVENCHY Spring Summer 2018 show, scheduled for October 2017.
