GIVENCHY Launches Latest Capsule Collection "Essentials" First Globally
GIVENCHY will present its limited capsule collection, "GIVENCHY ESSENTIALS," at The Stage on the first floor of Isetan Shinjuku Main Building and at Koto Koto Stage on the first floor of Hankyu Umeda Main Store in September 2018.
Following 2017, "GIVENCHY ESSENTIALS" is a capsule collection that will be launched in Japan first, ahead of the rest of the world.
The women's and men's capsule collection, Essentials, expresses inspiration drawn from GIVENCHY icons through the modern lens of Artistic Director Clare Waight Keller. The collection features GIVENCHY signatures and materials with a sporty, urban-classic feel.
The GIVENCHY emblem appears in a particularly street-influenced variation.
For women, this season's "Wave" print is used for the lining of oversized biker jackets, on crepe de chine blouses, and on button-front ruffle skirts.
Formal attire includes a flowing, asymmetrical ruffled cocktail dress.
Urban and casual separates bring a fresh perspective to GIVENCHY's graphic statement pieces.
The Scorpio motif adorns items as intricate hand-embroidery on denim, and as embellishments on black and white T-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies.
Accessories include the GV3 and Cross 3 bags in black x fuchsia leather.
For men, military influences are incorporated, with keywords such as 'Paris Strike Force' embroidered in the "Givenchy World Tour" series.
Tracksuit jackets feature contrasting stripes, the GIVENCHY logo, and accents of the 4G emblem.
Men's accessories include baseball caps, pouches, and messenger bags with an adapted GIVENCHY print.
Also available are a mini version of the JAW bag in black canvas with the GIVENCHY logo, and JAW sneakers in leather and neoprene with a GIVENCHY patch on the heel.
This is a highly anticipated collection, set to launch in September.
