The "YAOYA PROJECT 2020" seeks to discover products that distill the essence of 'living' from the repetition of 'daily life.' We are currently looking for creators with product ideas that can reclaim a sense of 'living' from the everyday routines, in collaboration with companies in Yao City, Osaka.

Yao City, Osaka Prefecture, is a 'city of manufacturing' that has supported Japan's production behind the scenes, creating all manner of daily necessities and industrial products. While many companies with advanced technical and product development capabilities operate here, they have not actively sought opportunities to broadly promote their proprietary technologies. To break free from this situation, this project has been launched with the aim of creating original products that leverage their accumulated technical expertise, and over several years, expanding into various global markets.

This time, we are soliciting ideas centered on the theme of "Products that reclaim 'living' from the repetition of 'daily life.'" Additionally, during the application period, we will host "Open Factory" tours of the businesses' facilities, allowing participants to research information obtainable only on-site and explore seeds of ideas from diverse perspectives.
