Introducing the Insta360 EVO, a completely new, shape-shifting 360-degree camera. Unfold it for 180-degree 3D shooting, or fold it for traditional 360-degree capture, all in one device.

The newly introduced "180-degree 3D shooting mode" allows you to easily capture high-quality 180-degree stereoscopic video and still images simply by unfolding the camera. Relive precious, once-in-a-lifetime moments like "a child's first steps," "journeys to unknown places," or "reunions with old friends" with a more immersive 3D experience.

Captured 180-degree 3D and 360-degree footage can be viewed using the included folding 3D glasses and a smartphone. Alternatively, by installing the dedicated "Insta360 VR" app, you can play back content on VR headsets like Oculus Go and Galaxy Gear VR.

Furthermore, by attaching the special smartphone case "Insta360 HoloFrame," developed specifically for the "Insta360 EVO," you can enjoy 3D visuals with the naked eye using the smartphone app's "Insta 360 EVO" eye-tracking function, without the need for VR headsets or goggles.

The EVO comes with a compact "tripod" that doubles as a grip, and a "protective pouch" for easy portability. Additionally, the "TimeShift mode" available through the smartphone app allows for the capture of 360-degree time-lapse and hyperlapse videos. It promises to be a versatile companion for various scenes, from exploring new places on trips to capturing family gatherings.

The app also enables playback, cut editing, and color adjustments of captured data. Sharing content to social media platforms like Facebook and YouTube, which support both data types, is also straightforward directly from the app.


Domestic sales are scheduled to begin on April 12, 2019.
