Asahi Soft Drinks has launched a limited-time original puzzle game, "Escape from Loneliness," in collaboration with SCRAP, the creators of the popular "Real Escape Game." Available on the Asahi Soft Drinks LINE official account from December 12, 2017 (Tuesday) at 12 PM to December 26, 2017 (Tuesday) at 11 AM, the campaign allows participants to apply for prizes based on the number of correct answers. This marks the first time SCRAP has created a puzzle game playable on a LINE official account.
According to a recent survey in 2017*, nearly 30% of men in their 30s responded that they would "spend Christmas alone." Some people genuinely enjoy being "kuribocchi" (alone on Christmas). Asahi Soft Drinks is offering the puzzle game campaign "Escape from Loneliness" on its LINE official account for those who embrace being "kuribocchi." Participants can apply for prizes based on their correct answers, with a total of 208 winners selected by lottery to receive various gifts tailored for the "kuribocchi."
"Escape from Loneliness" tells the story of "I," who is working hard alone just before Christmas, only to be stranded on a deserted island by a sudden appearance of Santa Claus. The goal is to escape from loneliness by solving the presented puzzles! The puzzles are delivered through the Asahi Soft Drinks official LINE chat screen, with the story unfolding alongside original videos. For every three correct answers out of nine questions, participants will receive a URL to apply for a chance to win a "Santa's Gift."
