Survey on BtoB Analog Sales and Digitalization: The Need for Digital Shift in BtoB Companies Becomes Clear Amidst the Pandemic

Basic Inc., which operates the all-in-one BtoB marketing tool "ferret One," conducted a survey on awareness of BtoB analog sales and digitalization among 105 executives and officers of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with 50 to fewer than 300 employees that conduct BtoB business.

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about various changes in things and events. The same applies to corporate sales activities; maintaining the status quo will not yield the desired results. Should we not reconsider what methods are available to shift our sales approaches to digital?

Voices lamenting a lack of knowledge and personnel were heard. Perhaps due to this, approximately 50% expressed interest in "services that allow for general web marketing even for beginners," indicating a strong desire for digital transformation within their current capabilities.
