Bring your own bottle and get a refill of freshly made sparkling water!

SodaStream has opened a limited-time POPUP space, “Join the Pre Cycle Revolution 2021,” on the first floor of the Yurakucho Building at space S. The event, running from Saturday, October 2, 2021, to Sunday, October 17, 2021, will communicate the message of Plastic Fighters, SodaStream’s environmental initiative.

Globally, one million plastic bottles and cans are used every minute, a number so vast that recycling is out of the question, let alone collection. SodaStream, advocating for a "drink habit without plastic bottles," aims to reduce disposable plastic bottle usage by 78 billion by 2025 through the widespread adoption of its machines. Japan is said to be a top-level emitter of plastic bottle pollution, with most of it being unrecyclable.
This POP UP space serves to convey the message of SodaStream’s environmental initiative, "Plastic Fighters," and offers a place to learn about environmental issues, including pollution from plastic waste.
The POP UP features message panels detailing SodaStream’s environmental conservation activities, displays and explanations of various products, tasting experiences, and VR experiences. During the tasting, guests can sample drinks made with "Soda Press Organic Syrup," craft syrups created with carefully selected ingredients and meticulous dedication. Flavors available for tasting include kombucha, pink grapefruit, ginger ale, cola, and blueberry. Additionally, a water filling station is set up at the venue, allowing visitors who bring their own bottles during the event period to refill them with freshly made sparkling water. The VR experience immerses users in underwater footage filmed in Tokashiki Island, Okinawa, then transitions to an aerial view of the sea.
