Uchino Co., Ltd., which proposes a healthy and comfortable lifestyle from bath time to sound sleep, has released the "2017 Xinjiang Cotton Nouveau" towel, made with freshly harvested, hand-picked Xinjiang cotton from the fall of 2016.
Xinjiang cotton is an extremely high-quality cotton cultivated in cotton fields in the remote region of China, the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.
Woven from hand-picked Xinjiang cotton, the Xinjiang Cotton Nouveau is crafted from rare and high-quality Xinjiang extra-long staple cotton, spun into combed yarn by removing short fibers and aligning only the long ones. It is woven with a high-density, long pile to preserve the natural qualities of the raw cotton.
Supple yet voluminous, this rich product, imbued with a sense of vitality, is also perfect as a spring gift.
In conjunction with the release of the 2017 Xinjiang Cotton Nouveau, Uchino has also launched "2017 Blend," a line of aroma items blended with fresh essential oils extracted from plants within the past year.
A new value for towels, evoking the essence of each year's harvest, much like wine.
