CAVE, a new property at "NOT A HOTEL NASU," opened on May 1, 2024. It offers various facilities for a relaxing time.

A private space with an infinity pool, hot springs, and sauna

NOT A HOTEL offers villas that combine design by world-renowned architects and creators with comfort provided by IoT and other technologies, under the concept of "Your home, anywhere in the world."
The key feature is its network that allows owners to mutually use NOT A HOTEL properties at other locations, not just their purchased house. You can own it as an asset like your home or villa, and purchase shares in mutually usable properties in units of 10 nights per year.
NOT A HOTEL NASU opened with two buildings, "MASTERPIECE" and "THINK," in December 2022, and "CAVE" has now opened. The already open "MASTERPIECE" can be booked by general guests, not just owners, for stays of one night or more.
The houses, with their vastly different characteristics, are scattered across the 160,000-tsubo ranch in Nasu, including detached residences standing in isolation. Each is equipped with a private sauna and other amenities. It's a place where you can fully experience the extraordinary, despite being just 90 minutes from the city, with its vast natural surroundings and carefully selected facilities.
The architectural design of the third property, "CAVE," was handled by SUPPOSE DESIGN OFFICE, led by Makoto Tanijiri and Ai Yoshida, as with the other two buildings. The landscape design was undertaken by Taichi Saito, a garden designer and representative of SOLSO.
Mortex, which utilizes the uneven texture of manual application, is used for the exterior and interior walls. It creates a finish that, while exuding presence, blends into the rich nature of Nasu. The gradual change in color over time is also a pleasure of ownership.
The floor plan is 3LDK. The living and dining area features sliding doors that, when opened, reveal a panoramic view of the expansive ranch. The space boasts a ceiling height of approximately 2.6 meters, offering a sense of openness. The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils and elegant tableware, allowing for cooking with a different mood than usual.
The bedrooms are designed with slanted windows, creating an environment where you can fall asleep gazing at the starry sky and wake up comfortably to the morning sun. There are three bedrooms in total, accommodating up to six guests. The design is suitable for hosting guests.
The outdoor infinity pool, 8.4 meters wide, offers a sense of openness connecting with the blue sky while being surrounded by trees, ensuring privacy. The flow to the sauna, cold plunge pool, and sun deck is seamless.
The sauna features glass walls, allowing you to sweat while enjoying the surrounding scenery. The cold plunge pool is set in a recessed area, creating a cave-like darkness. You can relax and find your balance while gazing at the light from outside and the shimmering water surface. A private hot spring is also available. You can enjoy a supreme bathing experience while feeling the vast ranch landscape and the changing seasons.
For pet owners, there is a spacious dedicated pet pool area and a garden where they can relax and play, providing an environment where beloved family members can unwind.
For meals during your stay, a private dinner can be arranged with a dedicated chef for an additional fee. You can savor a special, one-of-a-kind course menu that incorporates seasonal ingredients from Nasu, as well as a balance of seafood and mountain produce, or a teppanyaki course using carefully selected ingredients from Nasu. Additionally, options such as Sukiyaki with Nasu Kogen Beef, Duck and Seasonal Vegetable Hot Pot, Chicken Paitan Nabe, and a Teppanyaki Set (self-service) are available in your room, allowing you to spend time differently from your daily life.
Additionally, a Tesla Model 3 is available as a shared car exclusively for NOT A HOTEL owners, which can be used for sightseeing or shopping.
Starting this summer, general guests, not just NOT A HOTEL owners, will also be able to make hotel reservations. "CAVE" offers architectural appeal, a variety of relaxing facilities, and pet-friendly amenities. It is the perfect place to spend a leisurely time by purchasing it, or to recharge your energy by staying at the hotel.
