HAKOIRI SAUNA, a sauna cabin, has opened within Container Works in Yamanakako, a vacation rental house for one group per day utilizing shipping containers. Reservations are now being accepted.

Container Works in Yamanakako is located about 3km from Lake Yamanaka. It opened in 2018 as an accommodation facility offering a superior outdoor lifestyle, with a spacious play area and a deck offering views of Mt. Fuji.
The facility is operated by Barrow Works, also a manufacturer of container houses. To share the enjoyment and possibilities of container houses, which are gaining global popularity, they opened it as a vacation rental house for exclusive use by one group per day.
And now, HAKOIRI SAUNA has opened on the grounds of Container Works in Yamanakako. It is a private sauna designed for guests to fully enjoy an even more high-grade personal space.
Its distinctive feature is that you can do everything yourself, from tending the fire to achieving a state of deep relaxation, with a wood-burning stove and hinoki cypress interior designed to engage all five senses through aroma, sound, and touch.
Enjoy a sauna, then a barbecue, and in the evening, gather around the fire. Experience a premium sense of well-being, unique to the natural surroundings.
