A Special Course Designed for Lexus Owners

Launched with the aim of promoting Kyushu to the world through the world's finest train and unparalleled hospitality, "Seven Stars in Kyushu" celebrates its seventh anniversary this year. Lexus, which has consistently challenged new frontiers in manufacturing with human sensibility and technology, found resonance with this spirit, leading to the creation of this special journey.
The tour, held from Friday, July 17th to Sunday, July 19th, will see Lexus and "Seven Stars in Kyushu" traverse Kyushu together, delivering the region's remarkable charm through encounters with various artisans.
On the first day, under the theme of "An Adult Factory Tour," participants will visit the Miyata Plant of Toyota Motor Kyushu, where over 50% of Lexus vehicles worldwide are manufactured, by Lexus car. The tour will be a special, exclusive experience.
In the evening, a one-night-only collaboration dinner will be realized, featuring Chef Shinichi Sato of the two-Michelin-starred Parisian restaurant "passage53" and Chef Hiroki Yoshitake, who earned a Michelin star in Paris and last year opened "Restaurant Sola" in his native Kyushu. Chef Sato will return to Japan temporarily for this special event.
On the second and third days, guests will board the special course of "Seven Stars in Kyushu." Special programs are also prepared for the journey aboard the train.
One such program includes an exhibition and workshop of Nagasaki glass by glass artisan Reito Takeda. Takeda was selected as the 2016 Nagasaki Prefecture representative for "LEXUS TAKUMI PROJECT," which supports artisans who, like Lexus, challenge innovation in crafts by leveraging regional traditions and cultivated skills, enabling them to flourish from their local communities to Japan and then to the world.
Additionally, a driving program will be offered, allowing participants to drive Lexus vehicles along a scenic route from Bungomori Station to Yufuin Station in Oita Prefecture during the train journey. This trip is designed to embody Lexus's concept of "omotenashi" (hospitality).
