At the Biwako Marriott Hotel's top-floor restaurant, "Grill & Dining G," a Japanese lunch called "Summer Lunch Box" is now available. Enjoy a seasonal menu while gazing out at the sparkling summer waters of Lake Biwa. Available from Tuesday, June 1, 2021, to Tuesday, August 31, 2021.

The summer-exclusive "Summer Lunch Box" is served in a box style, featuring local Omi ingredients such as small ayu fish and red konjac, with herbs and spices used as accents.

The healthy menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients to nourish the body tired from the summer heat, is characterized by its visually refreshing presentation.

The box offers nine distinct flavors. It includes dishes like winter melon with ginger ankake, which cools a heated body, smoked salmon and mint fresh spring rolls with a refreshing aroma, and spicy chicken seasoned with eight-flavor chili pepper, perfect for summer, alongside other items incorporating Omi ingredients.

Also included are Japanese beef shabu-shabu served with a citrus-scented broth and myoga and aromatic vegetables for a light taste, as well as somen kabocha (winter melon noodles), which is low in calories, rich in potassium, and effective in preventing summer fatigue.

For dessert, refreshing ice cream and anmitsu served with green tea jelly are provided, creating a menu that allows guests to fully enjoy the summer season from start to finish.
