Prime Location Opposite MoMA

Founded in 1764 under the authorization of Louis XV in the Lorraine region of eastern France, Baccarat has been a cherished maison by celebrities worldwide for over 250 years. This illustrious history and elegance have now culminated in a dazzling luxury hotel and residences, as radiant as crystal itself.

The Baccarat Hotel & Residences boasts a prime location directly opposite the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). Stepping inside the highly artistic building, with its facade as beautiful as Baccarat crystal, reveals a dazzling space that fuses American and European aesthetics, past and present.

The hotel offers 114 guest rooms, and the residences comprise 60 units. All hotel rooms, including suites, and public spaces were designed by the Parisian design duo Patrick Gilles and Dorothée Boissier. They have created sophisticated interiors featuring luminous ceilings, pleated silk walls, and monumental crystal tables, with custom Baccarat crystal pieces thoughtfully placed throughout.

Consideration has also been given to habitability, with generously sized desks and Baccarat lighting that balance functionality and beauty. The bathrooms are equipped with amenities exclusively created for this hotel by the French luxury fragrance house "Maison Francis Kurkdjian." Suites feature amenities from the French anti-aging skincare brand "La Mer," and packing services are also available.

The first-floor restaurant is named "Chevalier," in honor of Georges Chevalier, who served as Baccarat's artistic director from 1916 to 1976. Led by Chef Shea Gallante, who earned a Michelin star at New York's "Cru," and Director Charles Masson, a long-standing manager at the renowned New York French restaurant "La Grenouille," the establishment offers cuisine filled with elegance and imagination.

Gallante and Masson's collaboration can also be enjoyed through small plates served in the hotel's second-floor social salon, "Grand Salon," adorned with platinum champagne, as well as via room service and catering menus for special events.

The basement houses the first "La Mer" spa in the United States. Additionally, a chic indoor pool with black and white tiles and a fitness center equipped with state-of-the-art machines and personal trainers are available to cater to guests' requests.

This is a special space where Baccarat's aesthetic sensibility permeates every corner. It seems poised to become a signature New York hotel, one to aspire to visit.
