The Peninsula in Pink Campaign

The Peninsula Tokyo is once again launching "The Peninsula in Pink," its breast cancer awareness campaign, from Tuesday, October 1st to Thursday, October 31st. This month-long initiative aims to promote the importance of breast cancer prevention, early detection, diagnosis, and treatment, while also supporting patients. Throughout the month, the hotel will be adorned in pink, featuring special charity menu items.

¥500 Donated Per Sale

The Peninsula Tokyo has consistently supported three official pink ribbon charities throughout the year. In October, designated as "Breast Cancer Awareness Month," the hotel has been running this campaign for five years, conveying the pink ribbon message to its visitors.

During the campaign period, all directly managed restaurants will offer a variety of "pink" themed menus, including cocktails, lunch boxes, and afternoon tea. Additionally, boutiques and cafes will sell pink-inspired macarons and chocolates. For each sale, ¥500 will be donated to "Keep a Breast Japan," an organization dedicated to breast cancer prevention and early detection through art, fashion, and music, as well as to the Japan Society of Breast Health.

Furthermore, on Monday, October 21st, a gala dinner will be held, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy a five-course dinner crafted by The Peninsula Tokyo's Executive Chef Adam Mathys, paired with premium champagne and wines.

The hotel's exterior, inspired by Japanese lanterns and stretching 100 meters, will be illuminated in pink for "The Peninsula in Pink" campaign, showing support for the cause. Enjoying the charming pink-themed dishes and sweets, this event serves as an opportunity to reflect on breast cancer. Ladies might consider regular check-ups, while gentlemen could encourage their partners and family members to do the same.
